TMA Mondays: To the Point

TMA'ed while listening to LUV by Tory Lanez

This week, I'm going to keep it short and sweet. Corvus & Co added brunch to their lineup last weekend. If their brunch is anything like their latkes, you're in for a good time. Vendemmia has a new happy hour menu that's available every day. Chef Brian Clevenger loves happy hour as much as the next person, so he added weekend happy hours. He stays winning!

Oreo recently released swedish fish flavored cookies. Sounds...interesting, but I can't speak for everyone's palate. Lastly, Seattle has voted, and its favorite pizza  is Windy City Pie. This means it's time for me to get some deep dish.

Our Pick of the Week

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, Multiple Locations - A name change won't stop Kizuki ramen's popularity. They are so far my favorite ramen place in Seattle. Their garlic tonkatsu shoyu ramen is what my garlic-loving self has been waiting for all my life. I am craving one as I write this.

Melons - Stay cool with this melon salad by smitten kitchen.

New Sh*t In Town

Southpaw, First Hill - This fall, the old Lark location will be reincarnated as a casual wood-fired pizza restaurant. Its name is apparently a nod to all things unorthodox - a left-handed boxer's stance, batting left-handed, and serving pizzas that are a mix of Neapolitan and New York Style. Keep an eye out for the change!

Café Trophy, Bellevue - Trophy cupcakes has upgraded. Although they've moved to the first floor at the Bravern, from their original second floor location, their new café/bakery/champagne bar offers sweet and savory treats day and night.  They'll still have their beloved cupcakes, but in addition, expect French pastries, breakfast parfaits, sandwiches and uhh.. CHAMPAGNE!

Seattle, What's Happening
