TMA Mondays: Open and Close

TMA' ed while listening to Recognize by Skizzy Mars ft. JoJo

It’s a new week in Seattle and like always, restaurants are opening, closing and changing. Mollusk changed their minds on service charges and brought back tipping. They weren't getting a lot of foot traffic and the service charge setup was affecting how much their wait staff was taking home. Maybe they'll switch back when things pick up?  Also having foot traffic issues, Tr3s Cocina/Cantina. The upscale Mexican restaurant did not get enough traction after it' s first few months and has had to close its doors. Two places not closing? Peso's and Toulouse Petit. Rumors have been flying that those two popular restaurants might be closing due to a change in hands of the building owners. Both restaurants have responded saying "So Not True!". Worry not folks, you still have multiple opportunities to get your beignets from Toulouse.

Spring weather means more daytime eating, so it’s a perfect time for Lark to add brunch to their menu starting this Saturday.  The menu kicks off with a handful of pastries made in-house, like caramel pecan monkey bread, maple foie gras and more. Woodblock has also started serving Lunch daily from 11am - 3pm and happy hour kicks off right after from 3pm - 6pm.

Our Pick of the Week

Apples - Spring means salads, and lighter foods. Try this light twist on a chicken salad from Paleo Leap that uses avocados and apples to create something delicious.

New Sh*t In Town
