TMA Mondays: Spring Break
It’s spring break this week and I’m catching up on sleep, but the ATL food scene stays busy! There are lots of food goodies this week so I'll get right into it.
Our Pick of the Week
Victory Sandwich Bar, Poncey-Highland - Affordable and delicious sandwiches and come good AF chocolate chip cookies.
Honey-Roasted Carrots - If you are looking for a new way to cook your vegetables, try Chef Resha's honey roasted carrots.
New Sh*t in Town
Pancake Social, Old Fourth Ward - Pancake Social soft opened this week. That means pancakes are available from 8am - 3pm. However, after their grand opening next week you'll be able to get your hands on all-day breakfast. Aside from the standard pancake, their menu also includes dutch babies, lemon souffle pancakes, avocado toast and more!
Manny's Grant Park, Grant Park - There's a new pub in town and it's Manny's! If you're looking for a place to grad a beer after work or a Moscow Mule slushie when it starts to get hot, then check out Manny's. They also serve food to help you wash down that drink. They are open now but will be celebrating their grand opening this Friday March 22. Stop by!
Street Taco, Marietta - If you didn’t know, Marietta now has it's very own Krog street market like food hall called Marietta Square market and next week the first restaurant in the food hall Street Taco opens! The fast casual taqueria will be serving everything from street tacos to grilled corn to traditional Mexican cocktails. Plan your visit now!
Atlanta, What's Happening?
The Bloody Mary Festival, 03/24 - Tobasco sauce and tomato juice have never been my jam but if they are yours and you live for Bloody Mary's then you don’t want to miss this! Local bars will be serving their best version of the cocktail, and YOU will be the judges.
Fermentation Festival, 03/24 - If Bloody Mary's aren't your thing and your more of a Kombucha person, then check our Fermentation Fest at Cultured South.
PCM Oyster Social, 03/28 - This event is definitely more my speed. Happy hour, delicious oysters and a rooftop view. What's not to love?
