IMG_1255.JPG

The Superbowl was underwhelming this year, but the snow made Sunday in Seattle a bit more exciting.

Does a bit of snow count as our polar vortex?

I hope you are enjoying your snow day, taking the extra day to prep for the week.

Here is the lowdown on the Seattle food scene to help you get up to speed.

Our pick of the week

Anchorhead, Downtown – This is my favorite cofe, not because of the coffee but because of the quaffle. A cinnamon, croissant waffle the best breakfast, pastry, dessert all in one.

Raspberry Molten Lava Cakes -  3 years ago we collaborated with theNerdyBeautiful and HelloKimWin to make these beautiful heart shaped lava cakes.

Noren Sushi Kitchen and Bar, Capitol Hill- former chef of Wanderfish Poke is head chef at this new sushi restaurant in Capitol hill. There will be more than just a regular sushi menu, it aslo has ramen, yakisoba, donburi, bento boxes.
