TMA Mondays: Beychella
Beyonce performed at Coachella this weekend and reminded us why she is the Queen! I stayed up late and enjoyed her performance in the comfort of my bed because Coachella had a live stream. If you decided to sleep and still havent caught the magic that was Queen Bey, watch here.
Nutty Squirrel Gelato is expanding their catering services. They recently added CARAMELLO, a mobile Gelateria all the way from Italy who looks extra cute on Instagram. They'll be launching a new website soon with all the details on where to find Caramello.
Maslow's by Farestart is starting a new month series called Burger + Brews in partnership with some of the NW's craft breweries. Their first event will be on April 25th in partnership with Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Co.

Crumble & Flake, Capitol Hill - I am inactively making way through Seattle bakeries to try all the Kouign Amann I can. Crumble and Flake has been on my list for YEARS. This weekend I finally made it there and their Kouign Amann's are clutch! Stop by, the store is small but mighty.
Chilli - I spent 30 minutes this weekend discussing what to do dried and canned beans I had. Chilli seemed like the best choice, I was inspired by this recipe for Chicken Chorizo Chilli on Bon Appetit.
New Sh*t in Town
Claret, Wallingford - If you've recently eaten at Thackeray you may have noticed all the construction and closed off space. That my friends is for a wine bar that may be little but will serve a large selection of about 200 wines. They'll also have a PNW focused food menu and will have a brunch menu right from the jump.
Junkichi, Capitol Hill - Junkichi is a new Japanese Izakaya restaurant that opened in Capitol Hill. Aside from serving a variety of grilled meats and other dishes, they also have a service Robot called Sota. It can recommend dishes, as well as recognize returning diners, adding a little AI to your dining experience.

Cochon 555, 04/22 - The annual Cochon 555 competition is back in Seattle this weekend. 5 chefs, 5 pigs, 5 winemakers and a ton of other vendors and food. I've been once and well it’s a meat lover's delight.
