TMA Mondays: Spring Cleaning

 Katsu Burger, Capitol Hill

Katsu Burger, Capitol Hill

It must be spring cleaning time, because many of the empty shops around Seattle are starting to  become occupied by food businesses.

Amante Pizza is closing and will become a pot shop.

Babirusa's old space will become a Anacortes's Dad's Diner

The Einstein's Bros in Caphill will be a new robata restaurant called Junkichi in April brought to you by the same folks who own Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.

Oh speaking of Ramen, Seattle is playing a new movie at SIFF this Friday called RAMEN HEADS. The film profiles Japan’s reigning “ramen king” Chef Osamu Tomita and is an amazing ode to the art, philosophy and Japanese culture.
