TMA Mondays: Lighten up

IMG_4800.JPG

Losing an hour of sleep is totally worth it for days like this Monday. This week is a little light on the updates, but it's great if you're trying to save your appetite to eat lots of pie on Thursday.

Hope you continue to enjoy the extra day light!

Our Pick of the Week

Jerk Shack, Belltown - I've been here twice in the less than two weeks, so you know it's good. What will keep bringing me back is their sweet potato corn bread and of course the jerk spiced fried chicken.

New Sh*t in Town

Boca Restobar and Grill - Formerly known as Pizzeria 88 has gone through some management changes and they have replaced pizza with meaty dishes.

Poquitos, Bothell - Yes it is the same as the Cap Hill Mexican restaurant. They are expanding and their grand opening is Monday 3/19.

Seattle, What's Happening?

Pi Day Pie eating contest 2018, 3/14 - Be the first 10 people to arrive at Occidental Center at noon and you'll get to compete in eating  Tom Douglas's Dahlia Bakery Coconut Pie the fastest, for FREE. If free pie isn't enough, you'll get $25 gift card for Serious Pie.

Pi Day at Molly Moons, 3/14 - Molly Moons is teaming up with Snohomish Pie company to let you add pint size berry apple crumb pies for $3.14 to any ice cream order.

St. Patrick's Day Irish Festival, 3/14 - 3/17 - Kell's is the famous Irish restaurant in Post Alley, and this year they are throwing a week long party for 35th annual celebration. You can expect live music, lots of Irish food and drinks.

St. Patrick's Day Melrose Market, 3/17 - Capitol Hill market will also have live Irish music and Irish inspired food in addition to their regular fan fare.
