Oktoberfest may be known as the German beer festival, but Seattle is taking it even further with a weekfull of festivals and celebrations for a lot more than just beer.

Need more reasons to celebrate? How about Café Turko moving back to their original locations that is now spruced up. Don't worry they will still have their current location as more of a party venue space.

Speaking of moving, Stowell's are moving on to bigger things and selling Anchovies & Olives and Bar Cotta.

Our Pick of the Week

Market Grill, Pike Place Market - I have yet to try a better salmon sandwich that the one at the Market grill, the crazy crowds surrounding the grill is worth it for this delectable sandwich.

Santa Fe Salad - I don't usually eat salads for a meal, but when I do it is a Santa Fe steak salad they serve at work. I tried to find a recipe that was for steak, but the closest I could find was this one with chicken instead.

New Sh*t in Town

Joli, Phinney Ridge - Joli just had their Grand opening and are currently still serving a summer menu. The menu seems as minimal as their current website yet with plenty of variety to choose from.

Cloud Nine Creamery, South Center - U Village's Din Tai Fung has Molly Moons, South Center's DTF will have nitrogen ice cream. Expected to open in December or January, Cloud Nine will serve Nice cream flavors using baked brownies, banana cream pie, and New York style cheesecake.

Mighty O Donuts, Denny Regrade - This is their fourth location and it is now open. So for those Amazonian's that work near Boren Ave, you can now easily grab a coffee and a donut during your coffee break.
