Two quick things this week. Rachel's Ginger Beer is officially open in UVillage! They've partnered with Ma'ono to serve fried chicken sandwiches so you definitely want to visit.
The skycity restaurant in the space needle will be undergoing reconstruction soon, so stop by before they are closed for a while.
Our Pick of the Week
Anchorhead Coffee, Downtown - Anchorhead is my new favorite coffee place. Their coffee selection is extensive, the vibe is chill AF and the quaffle… get the quaffle. If you are a coffee bean appreciator, you'll love this place.
Milo Mocha Popsicles - It's summer-ish and you deserve something sweet. Why not try this recipe for milo mocha popsicles from our archives.
New Sh*t in Town
2120, South Lake Union - 2120 is opening later this month on 6th Ave., right in the middle of amazon food central. Most of the ingredients will be sourced directly from the PNW. Expect items like Vancouver Island King Salmon, a Wagyu Burger with Beechers cheese, and Washington Oysters. My mouth is watering as I write.
B's Po Boy, West Seattle - B's, the latest addition to the West Seattle neighborhood, has brought the authentic New Orleans style sandwich to town. Their bread is baked in NOLA and will be packed with things like fried shrimp, roast beef, spicy sausage and more. Oh and they have alligator bites made of alligator tail meat. You should check them out.
Civility & Unrest and The Lakehouse, Bellevue - Chef Jason Wilson of Millers Guild has opened two new establishments in Lincoln Square expansion building. Civil and Unrest, is a cocktail bar with a deep selection of spirits perfect for any and every kind of cocktail. The Lakehouse on the other hand brands itself as a Northwest farmhouse. The menu highlights produce sourced from Pacific Northwest growers and farmers. Sounds like it's time to schedule a fancy dinner/ happy hour!
