TMA Mondays: Turkey Day
TMA'ed while jamming to this How Long by Charlie Puth cover on repeat
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope your stomach and hearts are full this week!
Our Pick of the Week
Wood Shop BBQ, Central District - People say that Seattle doesn’t have any good BBQ. Now I'm no BBQ connoisseur, but wood shop definitely hits the spot. Plus, they were recommended to me by my Texan foodie coworker which is a good sign.
Pumpkin Cider Donut Holes - Something about this donut holes recipe by How Sweet Eats makes me want to cozy up with a cup of hot cider and a good movie. Try them out, let me know how they taste.
New Shit in Town
Taylor Shellfish Farms, Bellevue - Taylor Shellfish Farms is opening their 4th and supposedly largest oyster bar. Their new space in Bellevue has space for 130. That's 130 people happily enjoying oysters in harmony.
Bok a Bok, Capitol Hill - Bok a Bok opened last year with lots of fanfare and things must be going great because they are opening their second location in Capitol Hill in a few weeks. If you are not familiar with them , they serve Korean fried chicken. Juicy, deep-fried, awesomeness.
Lincoln South Food Hall, Bellevue - Food halls are very on trend this year and Lincoln Square South will be joining the movement this December. The new food hall will have a variety of fast-casual vendors serving dishes from poké to tacos. Look out for it!
Seattle, What's Happening?
Thanksgiving Dinner, 11/23 - If you don’t have Thursday dinner plans yet, or if you and your family want to try something different this year, there are a slew of restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinner. Check out Seattle Eater's list and make a reservation.
Magic in the Market, 11/25 - Pike Place Market will be kicking off the holiday season with their 22nd annual Magic in the Market event. There'll be holiday music, a tree lighting, cookie decorating and I hear Santa will be making an appearance.
