Gordon Skagit Farms, Seattle

Gordon Skagit Farms, Seattle

Whether you are going all out or staying in to binge watching Stranger Things, we hope you have a happy Halloween fellow foodies!

Since tricks are for kids, rest assured we only have good news to share in this update as a treat from us to you.

Our Pick of the Week

2120, South Lake Union - I finally tried out 2120 for brunch on Saturday. First of all the presentation of their food was beautiful and secondly it tasted just as good as it looked. The donuts were like mini churros that melted in your mouth especially when coupled with the agave whip cream. The Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict was served with the lightest hollandaise sauce ever.

Pumpkin guts - Anyone who has ever carved a pumpkin knows how messy the pumpkin guts can be and how wasteful. The Kitchn has three great ways to use the pumpkin guts so you get more out of your pumpkin than just decoration.

New Sh*t in Town

The Buttermilk Company, Seattle -  Check out this new service that is providing an easy way for you to make traditional indian food at home. All you need is water and a packet of fresh ingredients from Buttermilk Co. Sign up for the beta today on their website.

Joli, Phinney Ridge - Joli is a new quaint restaurant serving French and Italian dishes as a rotating seasonal menu.

Bulletproof Coffee, South Lake Union - There has been some hype around the Bulletproof Coffee diet and whether it actually works or not. Either way, you can try the butter coffee for yourself today at the new café on Westlake Ave and decide where you stand.

Flatstick Pub, South Lake Union - Mini-golf enthusiasts rejoice because Flatstick pub is building a bigger and better third location on Westlake Ave with an expanded food menu and a new game. Its scheduled to open in the spring, just in time for the weather to get better and people to use the new outdoor area as well.
